Michelle Kidwell, Callaway County Emergency Management director, reports that a glitch in the county's 247 mass notification system caused it to call residents Thursday for severe weather instead of Wednesday. She said people should have gotten the phone calls Wednesday when tornado warnings were in effect for the county, but a glitch in the system caused the delay. The problem is being looked into so repairs can be made.
