Coalition formed for Joplin relief

Fourteen Fulton service agencies have formed Together for Joplin, a coalition of Fulton private and public agencies to funnel relief items and financial aid to victims of the Joplin tornado.

Ashton Meyer, Fulton Jaycees vice president, said the coalition will coordinate its efforts to make specific donations to match the needs of displaced people in Joplin.

To help the tornado-stricken people of Dumas and surroundings, donations can be made to the Delta Area Disaster Relief Fund, care of the Delta Area Community Foundation, P.O. Box 894, Dumas, AR, 71639, or through the Arkansas Community Foundation, 700 S. Rock St., Little Rock, AR, 72202.
