A Florida man who played football for Westminster College last fall has been charged with stealing from the Fulton convenience store where he worked.
Louvis D. Johnson, 20, of Naples, Fla., was arrested March 30 after owners of the Break Time gas station where he was working filed a complaint.
“He was working at Break Time and he was giving discounts on merchandise that he was not authorized to be giving,” said Lt. Andre Cook, head detective for the Fulton Police Department. “We were notified of it when the business owner filed a complaint.”

Why, other than sensationalism, would this article have the title 'Football player charged with theft?' I mean, how about 'Florida Man,' or "Convenience store worker,' or 'Man lacking morals' charged with theft.
The Westminster football team and the fact that he happened to have been a member of the team has nothing to do with this story, I don't understand why it is included.
Cheap writing trick to try and gain attention to an otherwise typical occurence. Wonder if Katherine has ever been dumped my a Blue Jay football player and has an ax to grind.

Very good point. Can you imagine the outrage if the headline was "Westminster Student charged with theft." Not seeing where football has anything to do with it either. "Former bed-wetter" would have gotten a lot more attention I bet! LOL
