The crowd at Gene Reagan Field for Tuesday night's Class 2, District 10 championship had little to no time to get settled in before the Helias Lady Crusaders launched the preemptive, and ultimately decisive, strike against the Fulton Lady Hornets.

It took all of 22 seconds for Helias sophomore Taylor Hagenhoff to corral a ball that Fulton tried to clear out of the box and put it past Fulton senior goalkeeper Liz Foreman.

And though the score occurred early, it was the story of the night.
