Those who intend to dance in the streets during the 8th annual Hit the Bricks! Fulton Street Fair will have several opportunities to do so with this year's lineup of entertainment.

Ten different acts are scheduled throughout the two-day fair, including a country singing competition that will make its first appearance during the festivities.

Kelly Nickelson, co-chair for the fair's entertainment committee, said she tries to bring a variety of musical groups to the fair.

"We want to appeal to everyone," Nickelson said. "Our intent is to draw as many people as we can downtown, and, hopefully, they'll hear something that they like."
