A Columbia man was taken into custody by the Fulton Police Department Wednesday following a stalking investigation.

Charles W. Fay, 26, was arrested after a flood of threatening e-mails sent to a Fulton woman on April 7 were traced back to him.
According to an FPD press release, the victim received 358 threatening and harassing e-mails in a 1 1/2 hour time span on April 7, a nuisance made more serious by the tone of the content.
