The Westminster College men’s tennis team will compete in the NCAA Division III Central Regional this afternoon at Washington University in St. Louis.
The Blue Jays (11-6) — making their fifth straight regional appearance — will play the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater (26-5) in a first-round match at 2 p.m. The winner moves on to face Whitman College (16-6) in Saturday’s semifinals.
On the opposite side of the bracket, Luther College (19-7) squares off against Earlham College (17-3) in first-round play at 10 this morning. The winner advances to meet host Washington University (16-5) in Saturday’s other semifinal.
The regional final is scheduled for Sunday.
