The Fulton Hornets coughed up a one-run lead in the top half of the sixth inning and the South Callaway Bulldogs responded with a four-run frame to get a 7-3 non-conference win at FHS Field on Monday afternoon. The loss was the second straight for Fulton (12-8) and the win was the second in a row for South Callaway (10-8).
Down 3-2 in its half of the sixth inning, South Callaway's Mitch Williams and Cody Rogers drew back-to-back walks off of Hornets senior pitcher Joel Matthews. Williams scored on an RBI single from Jason Kimminau and Rogers scampered home on an RBI single from junior center fielder Ben Seitz.
