Firemen to be honored May 14-15 at KC Memorial

The names of three Missouri firemen who died in the line of duty will be added to the Missouri Firemen’s Memorial in Kingdom City on Saturday.

They are William Bill Riley of the Liberty Fire Department, Randall Scott Davenport of the Marshall Fire Department, and Donald E. Schaper of the Timber Knob Volunteer Fire Department.

On Saturday night at dusk a candlelight ceremony will be held at the memorial to honor firefighters. A video presentation of 91 firefighters will be offered lasting about one and one-half hours. The Rev. Steve Barker, chaplain of the Hannibal Fire Department, will speak.
