The Owls offense erupted in the first two games of the AMC postseason tournament scoring 28 runs total to advance to the tournament title game. William Woods (32-16) heads to the finals for the fourth time in school history and is looking for its first tournament championship.
The Owls, entering play as the No. 2 seed, scored three runs in the top of the 11th inning to survive against No. 5 seeded Hannibal-LaGrange 10-7 on Saturday afternoon. William Woods, down 7-2 headed into the sixth, scored the game’s final eight runs, including five in the sixth to tie things up.
