When Fulton senior second baseman Alex Thomas came down on his ankle during a P.E. class last week, something in the way he fell told him to expect the worst.
“I thought it was broken it turned out it was just sprained and I wanted to play real bad last week,” Thomas said. “But I figured I should rest it up for the tournament and districts since it was the best thing for the team.”
