Callaway Singers to put on concert featuring oldies

The Callaway Singers will be revisiting the past Thursday night as the perform their annual spring concert.

The theme for this year’s event will be Bridging the Music of the ’60s and ’70s, and will feature songs from those two decades.

“We have a guy in our choir who sounds just like James Taylor, and I was trying to find songs that would feature that,” director Marlene Railton said of the decision to go retro for this year’s concert. “This music is so recognizable. The audience is going to want to sing along to.”
