Students learn traffic safety at assembly

Juniors and seniors at the high school here Friday afternoon learned first hand the dangers of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and texting while driving.

New Bloomfield Police Department and Missouri Department of Transportation safety experts brought a wide array of devices to demonstrate how impaired driving and texting while driving can lead to a fatal crash.
