City to smoke sewer lines

After several years of issues with storm water in Fulton’s sewer treatment system, the city will be conducting smoke tests of the lines in an attempt to locate the source of the problem.

From June 27 through July 7, the utilities department will conduct smoke testing on High, Middle and Eighth streets, Panda Drive, Castlewood Avenue and Bartley Lane. A previous test was conducted on Court Street north of the downtown area.
