Visiting church group makes Callaway focus of its mission of service

If Fulton and Callaway County residents notice crews of young people working throughout the area over the next week, they likely are viewing participants in Knox Presbyterian Church’s Go & Serve program.

The group of 142 high school and college students and adult chaperones from Naperville, Ill. are staying at Westminster College and working on a number of local projects — including renovations at the Clothes Cupboard, improvements at the Coalition Against Rape and Domestic Violence (CARDV) offices and projects at Head Start, Haven House and Wiley House, as well as individual projects helping elderly and disabled residents with home improvements — as part of its annual service trip.
