The City of Fulton once again has received a clean audit — and compliments for its financial staff.

Auditor Stephen Smith with Williams Keepers LLC of Columbia gave the 2010 audit report to the city council during its regular meeting Tuesday night, and gave both Fulton’s financial records and personnel a positive review.

“It was a clean audit. We had no disagreement over accounting policies ... or access to records, and there were no unusual transactions,” Smith said, further noting, “We’re always asked, and there were no indications of fraud or illegal activity.”
