Missouri has been hit hard by tornadoes and flooding this spring and more flooding is predicted along the Missouri River.

Debby Fitzpatrick, owner of B&N Business Services in Fulton, said everyone needs to have a disaster plan.

“A fire or a tornado can strike anywhere in Missouri. You don’t have to live in the flood plain to be exposed to disaster,” Fitzpatrick said.

“All small businesses need to have a fire or tornado preparedness plan, especially if they do a lot business on a cash basis,” Fitzpatrick said.
