The Fulton Traffic Commission may not have seen a need to lower the speed limit in the Southwind Lake Estates subdivision, but the city council Tuesday night elected to give the request further consideration.
Annessa Green, secretary of the subdivision's homeowner's association, appealed to the council after the Traffic Commission voted not to recommend the organization's request to drop the speed limit in the neighborhood from 30 to 25 mph during the commission's July 19 meeting.
