Police arrest Fulton man on cocaine charges April 23, 2014

Weekend sees serious accidents

Two Fulton residents were injured seriously during weekend accidents in Callaway County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported Addie Kathy Kronk, 59, a Fulton Realtor, suffered two broken ankles and other injuries in a head-on collision at 5:10 p.m. Friday just west of Millersburg.

The patrol reported the accident occurred when a 2010 Mercedes driven westbound on Route WW by Dr. Matiul Islam, 68, Columbia, “at a speed too fast for conditions” failed to negotiate a curve, crossed the center line, and hit Kronk’s eastbound 2005 Chrysler head-on.

Islam’s wife, 56-year-old Fetema Islam of Columbia, was a passenger in Islam’s car. She suffered serious injuries and was flown by the Staff for Life helicopter to University Hospital in Columbia. Islam and his wife are former Fulton residents.
