AUXVASSE - Combining ordinances for simplicity seemed to be the order of the day at the Auxvasse Board of Aldermen's regular meeting Tuesday night.
The board passed a new planning and zoning ordinance, which City Clerk Missy Hooks said essentially just combines all the city's prior planning and zoning ordinances and amendments into one. Mayor Kevin Phares suggested the board hold a special work session some time in the future for any modifications that need to be made to the new ordinance.
