Mokane Gary Bonsall will begin his eighth year at South Callaway School District as the new middle school principal.
Bonsall was brought on as principal to replace Michael Auer. Superintendent Mary Lynn Battles said there were a number of strong candidates for the position, but Bonsall was chosen “to be a wonderful leader for our district.”
“We’re very excited to have him on staff for our middle school principal,” Battles said. “He has a great rapport with all the teaching staff on campus.”
Bonsall previously worked as the district’s A+ program coordinator and as the high school guidance counselor.
