Washington competes in triathlon, "gives back' to Callaway United Way

Charitable contributions might be the last thing one would think could come out of good-natured competition between two friends.

But that's exactly what happened when Wake Up, Columbia producer - and Fulton assistant football coach - Jeremy Washington and that show's host, Tom Bradley, started in on each other one day about who could beat who in which athletic event.

"Somehow the comment was made about us taking it to the parking lot to race," Washington said. "... We like to go back and forth about that stuff."
