UPDATE: See Holts Summit murder investigation continues
A Holts Summit man is dead after he apparently was shot in the back of the head Saturday.
Holts Summit police received a call early Saturday afternoon after a man dressed in camouflage was seen carryng a gun in the 200 block of Major Terrace in Holts Summit.
About that time, a woman walked into her home and found her husband had been shot.
The man reportedly was flown to a hospital, but died a short time later.
Police have not released the name of the victim or any other information about the suspected gunman.
