Marty Martin-Forman, chief operating officer at Fulton State Hospital, will take the reigns from the 2011 Kingdom of Callaway Chamber of Commerce president Stan Crawford. The change-over will occur at the chamber's annual banquet on Jan. 27. The banquet begins at 5:45 p.m. and will be held at the Meadow Lake Acres Country Club in New Bloomfield.

Martin-Forman - who was president elect on the board this year - said she has two main goals for the chamber in 2012. She said her first goal is to communicate with area businesses asking them to become more involved in the community.

"Businesses simply have to choose to advocate for themselves," Martin-Forman said.
