Area parents looking for something to do with their children over the holiday break this week need look no further than the Callaway County Public Library in Fulton.

The library will once again host its winter break activity day - this year with a Winter Wonderland theme - from 2-3 p.m. Wednesday with crafts and games for children ages 4-8. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Janice Miller, one of Fulton's children's librarians, said the activity is something the library hosts every year in the week between Christmas and New Year's.

"We do it just to provide something for the kids to do during winter vacation," Miller said, noting the librarians enjoy the opportunity to see older students who normally do not make it in to weekday activities because of school. "The kids can come in and have lots of fun."
