Seven Callaway groups receive food from Columbia food bank

Seven Callaway County agencies are among the 135 hunger relief groups that receive free food from the Columbia-based Food Bank of Central and Northeast Missouri.

Most of the food distributed in Callaway County by SERVE, Inc. comes from donations provided by local organizations and individuals but it also receives food from the Columbia food bank and government commodities. SERVE can be contacted at (573) 642-6388.

Other Callaway County agencies receiving free food from the regional food bank in Columbia are the Fulton Soup Kitchen, (573) 642-8286; Holts Summit Soup Kitchen, (573) 642-8286; Missouri Girl's Town, (573) 642-5345; New Beginnings Church of Christ in Fulton, (573) 220-9110; Oak Chapel Pantry of Guthrie, (573) 491-3741; and Shepherdsfold Pantry, (573) 642-1439.
