ASHLAND — New Bloomfield sophomore guard Bethany Craighead tallied 12 points to direct a balanced attack Tuesday night as the Lady Wildcats outlasted Southern Boone 43-41.

New Bloomfield owned a 24-16 halftime lead and took a narrow 30-29 advantage into the fourth quarter. The Lady Wildcats (6-3) helped themselves by hitting 3-of-4 free throws over the final 8 minutes to pull out the victory.
