Hornets place third at Ft. Zumwalt North Tournament

O'FALLON, MO - The Hornets had a pair of first place finishers to place third in their pool at the Fort Zumwalt North Wrestling Tournament on Saturday. Junior Cody Pae won the 132-pound weight class and senior Zack McClure prevailed at 145.

"They were really aggressive and decisive with what they did on the mat," Fulton head coach Eric Hudson said of his two first place finishers.

Sophomore Jared Keiser placed third at 113, junior Kelcey Nunley came in second place at 152 and junior Brian Dennison took second at 160 pounds. Sophomore John Kingsley earned a third place result for the Hornets at 182 and sophomore Paul Books was the runner-up at 195 pounds.

"I think they competed really well and looked pretty good," Hudson said.

Fulton hosts Boonville and New Bloomfield at home at 6 p.m. on Wednesday.
