Chef Challenge returns to raise funds for CARDV

Once again, two Fulton chefs will use their culinary skills to compete in CARDV’s Chef Challenge.

The annual fundraiser for the Coalition Against Rape and Domestic Violence will begin at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 27, at the Fulton Country Club. Jerrie Bell, CARDV director, said it was decided to bring back the challenge again this year — which is based on the Food Network’s “Iron Chef America” TV series — after it was such a big hit the first time it was held.

“About 250 people attended (last year),” Bell said. “It was very fun and very successful.”
