Matthew Murrie, an English professor at Westminster College, published a children's trivia book earlier this month called "Every Day on Earth." The book targets children ages 8-12 and each page consists of an interesting fact that happens daily on the planet. Murrie, of Columbia, partnered with his father, Steve Murrie, to create the book. Steve Murrie taught middle school science in St. Louis for 34 years.
