Callaway County ambulances gain Missouri child certification

The Callaway County Ambulance Service has gained state certification for emergency medical service provided to children.

Charles Anderson, director of the Callaway County Ambulance District, said the district has completed the necessary steps to achieve certification for Emergency Medical Services for Children (EMS-C) from the Bureau of Emergency Medical Services at the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services.

"This is in keeping with our commitment to provide quality care and services," Anderson said.
