Two sisters, two baby boys, born on the same day, is it too much?
Both Kellie Smith and her younger sister, Jennifer Lubbers, gave birth to a baby boy on June 6. Smith went into labor first on June 5, a day past her due date. Smith said she was in the hospital bed in labor when Lubbers walked in, also in a hospital gown.
"What are you doing?" Smith asked her sister.
When Lubbers told her she, too, was in labor, Smith exclaimed, "Are you kidding me?!"
Smith said she was hoping to get her own "day of fame," and wasn't too happy at first to have to share it.
However, she says, "I couldn't imagine sharing it with anyone else, because at the end of the day, she's still my sister no matter what."
