KINGDOM CITY, Mo. (AP) — Authorities in central Missouri say three people were hurt when a pickup truck clipped a school bus on Interstate 70, flipping the bus on its side.
The accident happened around 8:30 a.m. Wednesday in Callaway County, about six miles east of Kingdom City.
One student — a 4-year-old boy — was on the North Callaway R-1 bus when the accident occurred.
The patrol says the westbound pickup clipped the bus while trying to pass it on the right. The pickup overturned in the median while the bus crossed the eastbound lanes and tipped on its side.
KOMU-TV reports the student was treated and released at University Hospital in Columbia. The two drivers were also treated at the hospital.

@ Kim Meininger : This bus driver delivers children to a special school in Mexico. Some are Autistic and some may have other special needs. He was my nephew's driver last year, and yes they start school at very young age to prepare for regular school. He is also my son's great grand father, and one of the most dedicated bus drivers you will ever meet, he loves these kids.
