By JORDAN DOUGLASS The Fulton Sun
A Fulton man has been arrested and charged in the recent rash of area burglaries.
According to a Fulton Police Department release, Adrian J. Fultz, 30, was arrested at 10 a.m. Wednesday and taken to the FPD for questioning. Fultz admitted to being involved in burglaries at 306 W. 4th St and 1815 Plaza Dr. Evidence was gathered linking Fultz to yet another burglary at 711 Jefferson St. According to FPD Lt. Andre Cook, more burglaries could be linked to the suspect.
“An investigation is still on-going,” Cook said. “We have linked (Fultz) to various other burglaries throughout the county and other charges could be filed once we have all the evidence gathered.”
When asked how much was stolen from the properties, Cook stated that this is still being reviewed. According to Cook, the motive was to sell the stolen items for cash. No other suspects have been named.
After questioning, Fultz was taken to the Callaway County Jail where he was charged with three counts of 2nd Degree Burglary and is being held on $50,000 bond.
