Lady Blue Jays punchless in losses
By The Fulton Sun

The Westminster College softball team managed just two hits in a pair of losses to Nebraska Wesleyan University on Saturday at Blue Jay Field.

The Blue Jays (3-7) got hits from Sam Pecher and Beth Hancock in an 8-0 opening los. But Westminster would find no more offense in the nightcap, going hitless in a 9-0, five inning loss. Hancock (3-4) took the loss in both games and was hurt by a Blue Jay defense which committed a combined nine errors.

Westminster faces Stephens College at 3 p.m. Tuesday in Columbia. The non-conference games will be played at the Antimi Softball Complex.
